Organizational Development Training Notebook Now Available from POWR
POWR has produced (with funding from the William Penn Foundation and the PA Department of Environmental Protection) an Organizational Development Training Notebook. The Notebook can be used as a resource for individuals wanting to start or just starting a watershed organization, as well as previously incorporated groups that face sustainability challenges. The valuable information on watershed organization management issues contained within the Notebook is compiled by POWR and based on workshops by the LaSalle University Nonprofit Center and Robert Morris University.

This Organizational Development Notebook is intended to serve as a reference for watershed
organization personnel. The Notebook is a collection of best practices, innovative ideas, and
informational models compiled by practitioners and consultants in the nonprofit sector and is designed
to cover the stages of operation, from “cradle to grave.”
Printed copies of the Notebook are available to be mailed out upon request. POWR members are each able to purchase one copy of the Notebook for a $5 shipping and handling charge.
