Public Meetings Scheduled on the Economic Study on the Value of Water in the Laurel Highlands
The Steering Committee of the Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape will host public meetings on May 14, 15 and 16 to solicit your comments and feedback on the Value of Clean Water study examining the costs and benefits of land use choices in the Laurel Highlands Region.
The study estimates the value of ecosystem services in the region, including nutrient and water regulation, water supply, recreation, and aesthetic value, totals $3.7 billion annually.

The Master Watershed Steward Program in Allegheny County is hosting a series of six informational meeting around the county in late July to introduce the residents to this exciting program. This flier announces those events. The MWS training program in the county will take place from September 2019 through January 2020.
